Integrate with PagerDuty

CelerData supports integrations with PagerDuty for incident management. PagerDuty can monitor your database systems and automatically alert the correct on-call personnel when technical problems are detected.

This topic will guide you through the process to integrate PagerDuty with CelerData.

Step 1. Acquire Integration Key

Follow these steps to acquire the integration key from your PagerDuty console:

1. Sign in to your PagerDuty console.
2. In the top navigation bar, choose Services.
3. On the Service Directory page, fine the service you created for CelerData, and click More > View Integrations.
4. On the Integrations tab of your integration overview page, click the Expand button next to your integration. Then, click the Copy button to copy the Integration Key, and save it properly.

Step 2. Enable PagerDuty Integration

Follow these steps to enable PagerDuty integration on CelerData Cloud BYOC console:

1. Sign in to the CelerData Cloud BYOC console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Integration Hub.

3. On the Integration Hub page, click the PagerDuty card.

4. On the PagerDuty page, click Add integration.

5. On the Add PagerDuty integration dialog box, configure as follows:

   a. Enter a name for your integration.

   b. Paste the Integration Key you copied earlier to the Integration Key field.

   c. Select the Default Severity for the alerts.

   d. Click Test Connection to test the connectivity of the integration.

   e. Click Save to submit the configuration if the connection is successful.
